In 2017\, Kurt decided to use his culinary skills to rally his community around ending mass incarceration.Chef and activist Kurt Evans’s work centers around criminal justice reform in America. Margel has written music for commercials\, films\, dance companies\, and artists while also forming two bands\, Sela and The Plush Lords. His performance highlights include performing with Dice Raw and Leonard Hubbard of The Roots\, Doug Grisby of the Tina Marie Band\, The Village People\, Lil’ B\, Miguel\, Kindred and Family Soul and dozens of other artists from across the world.\n\nWhile he is performing\, Margel also serves as an educator in New York and Philadelphia. There are 5 columns categorized as: White\, Rosé\, Cocktail\, Dessert/Fortified\, and Red.\nThe Caller will direct the Players to sample the first wine/cocktail.\nThe Player will have to use their sense of sight\, smell\, taste or wine knowledge to determine which wine or cocktail he/she has tasted.\nThe Caller will continue directing Players to sample the remaining wine/cocktails until the last one is sampled!\n\nHow to Win?\n\nPlayers will use Bingo markers to mark the correct wines/cocktails on their boards.\nPlayers have to mark 5 squares (correctly) in a row and shout BINGO! to win.  Squares can be marked vertically\, horizontally or diagonally.\n\nWhat’s Included?\n– Wine Tasting Activity\n– 21 Wine & Cocktail Combination\n– Bingo Board\n– Bingo Marker\n– A Custom Booklet with the included Wine & Cocktail Descriptions\n– Light Refreshments \nFrequently Asked Questions (FAQ)\nWhat happens if more than one person shouts\, “BINGO!”?\nThe Players will spin a wheel. By embracing Jamaican culture\, Chef Tevon has offered us a new perspective on a culture we all come to love. In January\, he started a pop-up series called Hummingbird Island\, where Jamaican Patties were the focus of the series. “Patties are a huge staple in Jamaican culture and I always find it hard to find a patty that is worth the hype\, so I thought to bring to Philadelphia a piece of my childhood.” Throughout the series\, Chef Tevon showcased other Jamaican classics like Jerk Chicken & Festival\, Akee & Saltfish (Jamaica’s national dish)\, Callaloo & Fried Dumpling\, and more\, elevating these dishes with his unique approach. Having honed his skills at top Philadelphia restaurants like Abe Fisher\, CONDESA\, and Serpico\, Chef Tevon applies his expertise to fill the void of representation for Jamaican cuisine in the heart of the city \nAbout The Entertainer – Gozde Tiknaz – Cellist \nGozde Tiknaz was born in Turkey and graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory with the most successful graduate student award. In 2008\, she was selected to receive the Fulbright Scholarship which enabled her master’s degree at Temple University Boyer College of Music with Prof. Jeffrey Solow. She completed her master’s degree with Albert Tashjian reward\, and she completed her Professional Studies degree in 2011. Throughout her studies\, she participated with numerous masterclasses and International Festivals as a soloist and chamber musician. Some of them are\, Kronberg Cello Festival (Germany)\, International Music Festival (Turkey)\, International Beethoven Festival (Germany)\, Bitola Music Festival (Macedonia)\, Bebersee Music Festival (Germany)\, Berlin Youth Orchestras Festival (Germany)\, and Young Soloists Recital Series of Leicester (England). In 2014\, she was on tour with Philadelphia Virtuosi Orchestra\, and she performed at Tchaikovsky Hall and Mariinsky Concert Hall. She also has performed with Josh Groban\, Michael Buble\, Jill Scott and Trans Siberian Orchestra. Gozde is currently a member of Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra\, and actively teaches at Philadelphia School District as the Strings Specialist.

DESCRIPTION:What is Wine Tasting Bingo?\nWine Bingo is similar to traditional Bingo except the numbers on the Bingo board are replaced with wine varietals and cocktails… that you’ll get a chance to indulge! \nHow to Play?\n\nEach Player will receive a 3-tiered flight stand that has a combination of 21 wines and cocktails.\nEach Player will receive a Bingo board. There are 5 columns categorized as: White\, Rosé\, Cocktail\, Dessert/Fortified\, and Red.\nThe Caller will direct the Players to sample the first wine/cocktail.\nThe Player will have to use their sense of sight\, smell\, taste or wine knowledge to determine which wine or cocktail he/she has tasted.\nThe Caller will continue directing Players to sample the remaining wine/cocktails until the last one is sampled!\n\nHow to Win?\n\nPlayers will use Bingo markers to mark the correct wines/cocktails on their boards.\nPlayers have to mark 5 squares (correctly) in a row and shout BINGO! to win.  Squares can be marked vertically\, horizontally or diagonally.\n\nWhat’s Included?\n– Wine Tasting Activity\n– 21 Wine & Cocktail Combination\n– Bingo Board\n– Bingo Marker\n– A Custom Booklet with the included Wine & Cocktail Descriptions\n– Light Refreshments \nFrequently Asked Questions (FAQ)\nWhat happens if more than one person shouts\, “BINGO!”?\nThe Players will spin a wheel.
